Roadmap To Engineering Education 2020

TCET-ISTE Students’ Chapter conducted the National Level Online event “Roadmap To Engineering Education 2020 (TCET’s way of nurturing engineers for better future)” from 24th August to 27th August 2020. The event was conducted from 10 am to 12.30 pm daily. This was an outreach activity for guiding students related to the Admission process and career outlook. Students from junior college science background irrespective of their board as well as their parents participated in this national level online event. On average 600+ student participants and their parents attended the 4 days webinar series daily via Zoom application and YouTube.

 

This program was specifically designed to address student’s and parent’s expectation in general related to: 

  • Engineering/Technology Education and Admission Process in Engineering Institutions.

  • Scope and Importance of Various Engineering courses.

  • Holistic Development in Engineering Education.

  • Career Opportunities after B.E./B.Tech.

 

Objectives:

  • To provide an insight about engineering education and admission process.

  • To enlighten participants about various Engineering/Technology courses.

  • To provide an insight to aspiring Engineering Students with perspective from career opportunities in the field of various Engineering discipline. 

  • To provide an insight about holistic development of students in Engineering education.

Outcomes:

1)Participants came up with various queries regarding the admission process and Engineering courses which were cleared during the webinar series.

2)It had given a good platform for budding young minds and their parents to understand the admission process and career outlook of an individual.

3)The webinar helped to increase the participants interest in pursuing engineering courses.
